They handed me a tiny seed,
I laughed and turned away
"What can one seed do?" I said,
"It's nothing, just a waste"
I wanted fields and forests,
not this speck upon my palm
But something made me pause that day,
and plant it in the calm

Days turned into seasons, and I almost forgot
That little seed I planted in that lonely garden plot
Then one day I saw it, a sprout had broken through
I realized in that moment, something magical and true
