About This Song

The Song That Cured 20 Years of Workaholism

For two decades, I lived with a constant hum of anxiety.

Even as a digital nomad with complete time freedom, I felt "on the clock" 24/7. Rest felt like failure. Relaxation felt like regression.

Location independence didn't cure the deeper issue -- I was addicted to feeling significant through constant productivity.

The Root Cause Discovery

Through my AI Mind Coding sessions, I uncovered the psychological pattern driving this behavior:

I was trying to get all of my significance needs through work. Subconsciously, I felt I had to perform miracles to feel important.

The solution wasn't another productivity hack or time management system.

It was to give a voice to this thought pattern through music -- and put it in scenes where its absurdity became inescapable.

Meet Your Mall Food Court Messiah

"Saviour" tells the story of a delusional character who believes she's performing miracles in a mall food court.

She parts the crowds at Victoria's Secret, multiplies ice cream cones for crying children, and transforms ketchup into mustard at the hot dog stand. Her bedsheet robe gets caught in the escalator. Security approaches. She ascends to the Golden Arches for a Netflix binge.

It's ridiculous. It's absurd. It's completely over the top.

And that's exactly the point.

The Psychology of Distance

When you can see how ridiculous your thought patterns are, you create psychological distance from them.

That character embodied my underlying thought pattern -- the need to be "The Saviour" who performs miracles to feel significant.

Hearing this psychology voiced through such an absurd character created instant distance from it. And once there's distance, you can see it's not you.

Then you can change.

The Breakthrough

After listening to this song multiple times, something shifted.

20 years of anxiety melted away. I rested properly for the first time in decades.

The constant need to prove my worth through productivity -- gone.

The guilt around downtime -- dissolved.

Sometimes the cure for taking yourself too seriously is hearing how insane you sound set to music.

The Creative Process

This track was generated using AI music tools, but the psychological framework was entirely human.

The lyrics came from mapping my internal voice patterns and exaggerating them to absurd proportions. The mall food court setting provided the perfect backdrop for highlighting how ridiculous these savior fantasies really are.

The result is part comedy, part therapy, part creative experiment.

Why This Works

Creative expression has always been therapeutic, but AI tools allow us to externalize our psychology in ways we never could before.

When you hear your internal voice patterns as a clearly delusional character, your brain automatically creates distance from those thoughts.

Distance equals perspective.
Perspective equals choice.
Choice equals change.

Lyrics

Behold the clouds part as I make my grand descent
Just past Victoria's Secret, and the food court's heavenly scents
My robes of white flow majestically in holy light
My bedsheet caught in the escalator, what a lovely sight
The multitudes await their saviour's guiding hand
The mall security approaches, seeking the promised land
My time has come to heal the masses' suffering souls
But first some Cinnabon... where free samples are my goals

They don't recognize divinity
Their eyes cannot yet see
But soon they'll witness powers
That will bring them to their knees

I am The Saviour
Just as foretold
Here to perform miracles
That you'll all behold
I am The Saviour
Of the food court and beyond
Security can't stop me
My powers are too strong

A child weeps before me, seeking heaven's grace
Rocky Road from his cone all over his wee face
"Fear not!" I proclaim, "I shall multiply this treat!"
I grab three cones from strangers' hands, my miracle complete
The waters part before my feet as I walk through
The janitor just mopped this spot, my Jordans shall not soak through
My followers shall witness transformation grand
As I change ketchup to mustard at the hot dog stand

I am The Saviour
Just as foretold
Here to perform miracles
That you'll all behold
I am The Saviour
Of the food court and beyond
Security can't stop me
My powers are too strong

A woman falls, a soul in need of saving grace
She tripped on my robe in this holy place
I raise my arms to bless her from where I stand
My gesture knocks displays like dominoes, just as I planned
The crowd falls silent, stunned by power from above
They're backing slowly away from me, calling the mall cops with love
My prophesy shall echo through eternity
Or at least until they escort me to the parking facility

I am The Saviour (Your Saviour)
Just as foretold (It's been foretold)
Here to perform miracles (You need me)
That you'll all behold (Oh yes, you'll behold)
I am The Saviour (Your Saviour)
Of the food court and beyond (So far beyond)
Security can't stop me (Just try)
My powers are too strong (So strong)

I ascend once more to the Golden Arches
Saint Ronald points to where my Hyundai is park-ed
I've crossed the mall, the masses saved from sin
In three days I shall return, after my Netflix binge
